This is the complete "The Sims" (1) series, and includes: The Original "The Sims". Livin' Large, released August 2000, adds more home objects, events, Sims, careers, and the ability to establish multiple neighborhoods. House Party, released March 2001, adds party-related content, such as lighted dance floors. Hot Date, released November 2001, allows Sims to meet or pick up other Sims for romantic encounters in a new city environment, dubbed "Downtown." Downtown also allows Sims to eat, play and purchase items, such as clothing, gifts and magazines. The expansion pack is also the first in the series to establish a playable area outside the neighborhood. Vacation, released March 2002, allows the player to take Sims to various vacation destinations, such as beaches and the woods for camping. Unleashed, released September 2002, gives Sims the ability to adopt and train a wide variety of pets, allow Sims to grow crops, and expands the neighborhood, including the addition of a New Orleans-themed town, dubbed "Old Town." Superstar, released May 2003, allows Sims to visit a Hollywood-like town called "Studio Town" and become celebrities. Makin' Magic, released October 2003, allows Sims to use magic and cast spells and introduces a new Magic Town area. Just burn the ISO to DVD, or mount with Magic Iso and install! No CDKey, crack, or keygen needed!
This is a fantastic find, but how do I choose out of the 8 games which one I want to play? It automatically starts with Makin' Magic every time.
I mounted it via ImDisk in Windows XP and installed. Everything went smoothly.

SO all went well and smoothly during the installation. I can open the game and use quit well. Until it comes time to save, Nothing will save. Also, there are no characters anywhere, Not my own, not the NPC's none at all. I can make a family the select "move in family". I then click on a house, I build and decorate the crap out of it. But, when I try press play or to start the game - nothing happens.
Please help me with this problem, I would really like to play this game :|

bradgoodman1- U cant choose what expansion u want 2 play but what it does is it combines them all. in other words if u install sims u got 150 items then u install andother expansion and u get 125 items. so now when u play the sims u got 275.

I cant save anything... windows vista sucks.
Is it normal that it takes so much time to install? 30 minutes and I am only at 25%. I am running with a P4 2.4 GHz.

SAVING FIX FOR VISTA!!!!
I had the same problems saving on my laptop with vista, so this is what you should do: Start the game as admin, and you will be able to save your progress.

I tried loading the game, and I use my new T.V. as a monitor. The screen goes black and the T.V. says "Mode Not Supported" Does it have something to do with the graphics? My computer can run The Sims 2, The Sims 3, and uTorrent downloading 100 Gb of stuffall at once, but won't plat this by itself, so I know it isn't my computer. Is there any way to change the game options without loading the game?

Does anyone know how to solve the problem when you run the program and it says it needs to update, insert disk 1 of making magic. I get there each time and I cant insert the disk and it wont read my virtual drive. What do I do.
Will I be able to get this working by using ISOBurner? I have no discs so I won't be able to do it that way

Ok heres the 2 steps after instalation i have installed this in 3 computers and it works fine and the same on all.
1: find the sims icon you would usually click on
2: right click and select run as administrator
and that is it, otherwise you will not be able to load it or if you can by left clicking it then it will not save your game next time you load it. so follow the 2 steps then it will work. Best regards

and as for @mxzrk no his is not better you will need to use a software called damon tools, its not a virus but a waste of time to install and use. you are free to do so but i personally like this one best.
And i guess i will need to write another comment for other new users, it says it is loading *Makin'Magic* but once loaded you have all locations, all appartments, magic stuff, pets, vocation etc you do have the lot but it will just have the Makin'Magic loading screen lol. Best regards Sean

ok found out i think i hope lol extract the disk2.PAK file in to ur documents folder and use that file to open its workin so far and repeat for disk3

This Torrent is excellent! SO many seeders it downloaded in half an hour! As for installing it, it took around 2 hours... after installation just right click on the sims exe and run it as administrator for it to save your games. Thanks allot 08Peechie08 !

UUHH 08Peechie08 i just got finished the download yesterday, instaled the sims 8 in one but after the install it is just sims makin'magic and no other else :( is this sims is just makin'magic?

So it downloaded fine and seemed to have installed fine, but when I open it (as administrator), it only gets to the "Makin' Magic" screen for a split second before crashing! My compy won't tell me anything but that it has a problem running... help?
Last time I downloaded a torrent like this eventually it stopped working because it had "discovered" that I had apparently installed an expansion after superstar and in order for it to work it needed to update, after canceling, it proceeded to ask me to insert Superstar Disc 1, and the only way to keep the message from popping up was to ctrl+alt+del - I have the feeling that I might encounter the same issue with this copy. Is this the "insert CD" problem everybody else is encountering?
It works flawlessly, you need not mount a thing, run the exe and make sure to run as administrator.

OK so I figured out my resolution problem.
If anyone else wants it running at 1024x768 instead of 800x600 simply right click on the shortcut and add the following to the target field...
"-r1024x768"
(without the quotes)
So it would like something like:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Maxis\The Sims 8 in 1\The Sims\Sims.exe" -r1024x768
Hope this helps someone out there :)

1. Download MagicIso or Daemon Tools ( i used MagicIso..
2. When u already have the SIMS iso on ur pc ( i mean this torrent...of course u have to download it first...^_^)proceed to step 3
3. Run MagicIso,right-click on it then click Virtual CD/DVD-ROM....then click MOUNT then browse for the SIM torrent...(.iso file)
4. just wait and a prompt will pop up asking u to run the SETUP.EXE...click on it then install

Also Peech you need to make a better installer, this one takes 3 hours to install when the download was only 30 mins this is the first game ive seen where the dl is shorter than the install.

Works with Vista, not sure about Windows 7. In Vista you must run it as an administrator or you won't be able to load or save ..worth the download and install time :)

After downloading this, my whole windows crashed and i couldnt start it. it was viruses which had caused it and the thing is, it all happened after downloading this to my sister.. fucking amatuers.

Do NOT install this. You will find it impossible to uninstall when it doesn't work. Even with repo it won't uninsall.

I've installed it, but when i run sims.exe it stops from the Makin Magic screen and shuts down...... how do u fix that?
I downloaded this, hoping that it would work. It doesn't, I saw all the error comments and looked passed them because of my love for the sims. So I had no problem with the installation. How ever I started to play it, then realized the sims collection that is offered here is not worth the 6 hours it took to download on my family's dsl connection. I don't know how to describe my problem to the best of its ability's, except everything was there and worked, EXCEPT no SIMS. I could not find any, or when I made some they would vanish and can not play the sims with out the literal sim characters.
Remove this torrent 08Peechie08. It has to many errors. No one seed, or download. I have no IDEA why anyone would seed this shady torrent. So stop. Don't download. I will buy the collection set myself, and seed for you people. The sims is a great game and should be a game that everyone can enjoy.

You all need to remeber the sims is an old game that was made for 95/98 that had loading issues with xp. so ya there is compatabilty issues for vista and 7 users that has nothing to do with the torrent itself. don't be so quick to flame.

In addition vista and newer windows requires administrative privileges in order to write in the Program Files folder. (try copying and pasting a file in this folder and see for yourself)

All went fine downloading and installing, mounted ect. and the game starts to run fine but when ever i try to do something it comes up with a loading box for each expansion saying new people are moving in this may take some time or something but it will never load or anything. Anyone else got this problem and/or could help. Im running on XP home. Thanks.
Everything worked fine for me, i have and Acer Aspire with Windows 7, but i uninstalled because it sounded like they were speaking spanish, ive never played any Sims games before so I dont know if they always talk like that or what, but it was annoying
